Mid Hudson Times 08-08-24: Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh scored a “Hole in One” and raised $19,000, at its fourth annual charity golf tournament, “Take a Swing at Hunger Golf Classic!” The golf tournament was held on July 22, and had 79 participants, who enjoyed a great day at the beautiful Powelton Club in Newburgh. The post tournament celebration featured golf awards, prize raffle winners, and a delicious dinner buffet. “We are very appreciative of the generosity of our sponsor, donors, and golfers,” said Joe Dirago, Golf Tournament Director and member of the Board of Directors.
